OUR 40TH ANNIVERSAY

We decided to take a Cruise for our 40th Anniversary.   I have said I NEVER wanted to crusise.   However, Mr. Wilhite wanted to go away without DOGS, KIDS or  grandchildren.  He did not want to share me.        I DID not want to do any  type of a crusie but I gave in and said I would book a cruise.   I chose a cruise to the Eastern Carribean leaving out of NY City.   We only had to drive 5 to 10 minutes to the bus stop and get on a bus and ride on the bus to the pier in NY City.   Sounded great.    We left on April 28, our 40th anniversay day.    They hearded us like cows to the boat.   I already knew this was something I did not like.     Lots and Lots of people.   Something I do not enjoy.   NOW I will have to enjoy all of these people for the next 8 days.   Sounded great to ME.    I have to share tables and space with people I DID not like and did not even care about;   however, I had to act like I did.

I did not realize there are soooo many little kids on cruises.   Bottles and diapers are something I would not want to do on a cruise, along with strollers.

We spent 2 days at sea-----what was I thinking....... all they do is push booze crap tables and betting in the coasino.     I did not sign up for all of this.   Again everywhere you go they push BOOZE which is very expensive.     We arrived at Grand Turk------and Mr. Wilhite went snorking and enjoyed every minute of the time we where there.   I signed up for snorking but knew I could NEVER do it.   I just watched.     Then the RUM punch came out........oh,  even Mr. Wilhite enjoyed the Rum Punch.   We enjoyed a long afternoon nap that day.   I had a very hard time to get Mr. Wilhite to take some R/R during this 8 days.   However, by mid cruise he was taking a nap with me in the afternoon......we had a room with an obstructive view but could see the ocean and hear the ocean which was great.   The 2nd day we enjoyed a  day at Half Moon Kae........ the most beautiful beach I HAVE ever seen.    We were to take ski jets for an trip around the island.......well they were broken and we did not get to do that trip.   We enjoyed the beach and beveages and lunch on the beach which turn out to be a great time.    Let me tell you I did not burn because I  purchased this great spray sunblock.   However, Mr. Wilhite stated he was not putting anything like that on him.   He came home with a horrible sunburn.   I kept telling him the sun is much more stronger in the Carribean and in NY....... but will a man listen.    NO.   After about the second day in the sun he asked for the Aloe afterburn because of the pain.   HE is pealing at this time.

The next day we went to Nasausa...........the island I would have like to stay on the boat but we did have a trip booked to the BLUE Lagoon.    The Blue Lagoon smelled like a sewage plant.    UGk.
A big let down from the  island we had been at yesterday.      We had lunch on this island which was included on our trip.    I should have thrown it in the trash from the beginning.

Then we had 2 days to return to NY.   Again what was I thinking...................... all there is drinking and the casino!!!!!   There are some 2 bit shows to watch.      Oh, I am not in any hurry to schedule another trip in a ship.   MR. WILHITE LOVED the CRUISE!!!!!
